Cold Morning In City Delhi
New Delhi: It was a chilly morning in the national capital today with the temperature settling two notches below normal and fog delaying 21 trains. "The minimum temperature was recorded at 5.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal. Humidity was recorded at 97 per cent," a MeT official said. According to a Northern Railway spokesperson, 21 trains were reported to be running late while 9 were rescheduled and 7 had to be cancelled. However, flight operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport were reported to be normal. The weatherman has predicted a clear day with possibility of mercury settling at 17 degrees Celsius. Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 19.3 degrees Celsius and 8.6 degrees Celsius respectively. - By PTI
