Ready to commit suicide if women enter Sabarimala Temple: Kerala unit of Shiv Sena
The Kerala unit of Shiv Sena has announced that a group of activists from the party were ready to commit suicide if any young woman tried to enter the Sabarimala temple on October 17th.
The ‘suicide groups’ are a part of the party’s protest against the recent verdict by the Supreme Court that allowed the entry of women, aged 10 to 50, to enter the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple.
The party has said that a seven-member ‘suicide squad’ was ready and were prepared to commit suicide if women were allowed to enter the revered temple.
