Congress candidate Hardev Singh Laddi Sherowalia seems almost close to victory as he is leading the trend with 39,000 votes Shahkot bypoll.

Meanwhile, Congress candidate Hardev Singh Laddi’s wife thanks supporters and the almighty for supporting Hardev Laddi, here in Jalandhar.

While Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Naib Singh Kohar has got around 36,294 votes till now. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party seems to be running out of votes at 1607 votes only. The counting for the Shahkot by-election would be held in 17 rounds, out of which the first and the second round has come to an end on Thursday morning by 8:46 am. The results are expected to be out by 11am today. -PTC News
