Congress protected guilty of Trilokpuri massacre : SAD

Total collapse of law and order observed by the High Court in its recent judgement vindicates that the culprits committing the heinous crime of genocide in Trilokpuri were not even booked under the crime of “murder” and the State did not pursue the cases to bring the guilty to gallows.said Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal senior Vice President of SAD here today.

While reimposing his faith in “Judiciary ” Grewal lamented that 95 Indian citizens lost there precious lives in Trilokpuri  to mob frenzy and were burnt in one of the most ” heinous” crimes against humanity after the Nation ‘s Independence. He said sadly, the State strived aggressively to protect the guilty and under the Judicial system of the country the murders were only booked for arson, burning of houses , looting and rioting. The High Court has observed that the ” quantum” of punishment cannot be enhanced since the state at the time of appeal did not pursue it. ” The government of that time was supported by the congress, the party which gave the nation its saddest days of “genocide” and wrote a page of history for killing on the name of religion.” said Grewal.

SAD

The SAD appeals to the Judicial system to find a via media to address this colossal damage to humanity and pursue a way to punish the guilty. Unfortunately the Congress party and then a government supported by the congress completely ” murdered” the democratic system in our nation. We appeal and hope that in these changing times and keeping the grave issue in perspective the Judicial system and Government evolve a law where nobody irrespective of there political clout will be spared for perpetuating crimes against humanity and the guilty still be booked for murder and punished for there crimes. He reasoned.
