Coronavirus: Veteran singer Anup Jalota, actor Dilip Kumar in self-isolation

Amid coronavirus outbreak, the veteran singer Anup Jalota on Tuesday stated that he is in isolation at a Mumbai hotel taking a preventive measure in the wake of COVID 19 pandemic. The 66-year-old singer Anup Jalota was in Europe for a concert. He landed in Mumbai on Tuesday morning. As soon as he landed he was taken to a hotel in Suburban Andheri. While giving information, the singer took to Instagram and wrote: "I am in awe with the Medical Care offered by BMC for passengers who are 60+. I was taken to Hotel Mirage as I landed MUM (Mumbai) from LDN (London); a team of doctors was sent to attend me. I appeal to each passenger landing here to cooperate and help in controlling the further spread." Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the singer said Anup Jalota said that the singer is in isolation for two days. As per the spokesperson, Anup Jalota hasn't gone for the COVID test. He is in isolation for formalities as he has just arrived from Europe tour, including the UK and Germany.

Dilip Kumar in self-isolation

In the meanwhile, the legendary actor Dilip Kumar on Monday decided to keep himself under isolation to avoid any infection due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 97-year-old actor shared the health update on his Twitter account. https://twitter.com/TheDilipKumar/status/1239617934319730688?s=20 Dilip Kumar took to Twitter and wrote: "I appeal to all of you to protect yourself and others by staying indoors as much as possible. The Coronavirus Outbreak transcends all boundaries and borders. Follow guidelines issued by health departments, protect yourself and others by limiting your exposure to others."
