Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 2029; death toll 39; recovered 1847

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 2029 after just a single new case of COVID-19 was reported in the last 24 hours, as of Friday evening. The death toll in the state stands at 39 after no new death was reported in the state. publive-image According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, only Ludhiana reported the new case of coronavirus. A total of 28 patients have been declared cured and discharged in the last 24 hours. Of 28 recovered cases, 7 from Jalandhar, 1 from Sangrur, and 6 from Ropar, 2 from Fatehgarh Sahib, 4 from Bathinda, and 8 from Mansa. Mohali, which has been declared corona-free, had reported 102 cases Hoshiarpur tally also stands at 102. Sangrur tally of coronavirus cases stands at 88 and Muktsar at 65. Faridkot has reported 61 cases so far while a total of 59 cases have been reported from Moga, 60 from Ropar, 57 from Fatehgarh Sahib.
