Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 2081; death toll 40; recovered 1913

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 2081 after 21 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Monday evening. The death toll in the state stands at 40 after now new death was reported in the state. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, Amritsar reported 10 new cases of coronavirus while Jalandhar reported 6 new cases. Likewise, one new case was reported each from Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Mohali, Patiala, and Sangrur. A total of 15 patients have been declared cured and discharged in the last 24 hours. Of 15 recovered cases, 3 are from Jalandhar, 1 from Gurdaspur, 10 from Faridkot, and 1 from SBS Nagar. Another covid patient died in Himachal | Himachal News Amritsar is on the top of the tally as it has reported 329 COVID-19 cases so far followed by Jalandhar at 220, Ludhiana at 173, and Tarn Taran at 154. Gurdaspur has 132 cases of coronavirus while SBS Nagar stands at 105 cases. Patiala has reported 108 cases while Mohali, which was declared corona-free reported a new case on Monday taking the district tally to 103. Hoshiarpur tally stands at 106. Sangrur stands at 88 and Muktsar at 66. Faridkot has reported 61 cases so far while a total of 59 cases have been reported from Moga, 60 from Ropar, 57 from Fatehgarh Sahib. Mansa has recorded 32 cases while the total number of coronavirus cases has increased to 39 in Pathankot. Kapurthala graph has increased to 36 while 22 cases of coronavirus cases have been reported from Barnala so far.
