The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 184 after eight fresh cases of coronavirus were reported from Pathankot, Mohali, Gurdaspur and Jalandhar districts on Tuesday. While Gurdaspur reported its first case of coronavirus, two news cases were reported from Mohali district. Rapid testing in Mohali and Jalandhar

Punjab Government launched Rapid Testing facility from two districts of the state – Jalandhar, and Mohali – with the aim of covering all the 17 hotspots in a phased manner. Punjab's Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu launched the facility at SDH Derabassi, with the commencement of sampling.
