Chandigarh reports 6 new cases of coronavirus; UT count 187

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Chandigarh has increased to 187 after 6 new cases were reported from the Union Territory on Tuesday. According to the information, three cases have been reported from the Bapu Dham colony, one from Sector 26, one from Kachi colony, Dhanas, and the other one from Sector 16. Among the 6 new cases of coronavirus, one is a woman constable and a doctor. The new coronavirus cases in Chandigarh include a three-month-old girl, a 33-year-old woman, and a 35-year-old man, residents of the Bapu Dham colony in Sector 26. Likewise, a 25-year-old woman tested positive for coronavirus is a resident of Sector 26. A 44-year-old man tested positive is a resident of the Kachi colony, Dhanas. Another 24-year-old man tested positive is a resident of Sector 16. Bapu Dham colony in Sector 26 continued to be the hotspot with three of the new cases being reported from there. Now, the total count of the city stands at 187 with the Bapu Dham colony accounting for more than 100 of those. 9 new positive cases of corona in Bahadurgarh | Haryana News On Monday, four more persons including two doctors at GMCH, Sector 32 and other two from the Bapu Dham colony were discharged from the Postgraduate 0Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER)’s COVID Hospital.
