Punjab: Two suspected cases of coronavirus registered in Baltana

Amid growing concerns over the coronavirus, two suspected cases have been reported from Baltana, Punjab. According to the information, they are husband and wife. The husband has been identified as 27-year-old while his wife has been identified as 25-year-old. They both are having a history of running nose. As per the report, they had returned from Switzerland on March 1. Meanwhile, the sampling has been done while they are admitted to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh.

Coronavirus in India

The number of confirmed cases in India has climbed to 43 after four new cases were reported on Monday. Meanwhile, the Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan stated that "We have discussed with Delhi Government to prepare for isolation wards, quarantine facilities, availability of doctors, contact tracing and other precautions if the cases increase."

Indian Scientists sent to Iran

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan stated that "We have sent our scientists and labs to Iran, when we will get custom clearance then they will start working. IAF's C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft to leave for Iran
