As per the coronavirus updates, India on Friday reported 84,332 new COVID-19 cases (lowest after 70 days), 1,21,311 discharges, and 4,002 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The total number of coronavirus cases in India stands at 2,93,59,155 while the total discharges have gone up to 2,79,11,384.

Meanwhile, the death toll in the country has reached 3,67,081 while active cases stood at 10,80,690. As of now, a total of 24,96,00,304 people have been administered the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 37,62,32,162 samples have been tested for COD-19 up to June 11, 2021, of which 19,20,477 samples were tested on Friday
Indian Medical Association (IMA) said that 719 doctors died during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. A maximum of 111 doctors lost their lives in Bihar, followed by 109 in Delhi.
India's active caseload has declined to less than 11 lakhs (10,80,690) after 63 days, the Health Ministry stated, adding that active cases decreased by 40,981 in the last 24 hours.
