Coronavirus India Highlights: Booster doses for frontline workers, seniors begin
Coronavirus and Omicron in India Highlights: India on Monday reported 1,79,723 fresh cases of Covid-19 and 146 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry stated. The active case tally in India has reached 7,23,619 while the daily positivity rate has climbed to 13.29 percent. On the other hand, the Omicron case tally in India has increased to 4,033. The active cases currently stand at 2,02,259 in the state. During the last 24 hours, 15,351 people recovered from the infection, taking the total recoveries in the state to 65,72,432.
