Coronavirus India Updates: India on Tuesday recorded more than 3.5 lakh new recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the total tally to 1,90,27,304. Giving coronavirus updates, the Union Health Ministry stated that India reported 3,29,942 new COVID-19 cases, 3,56,082 discharges, and 3,876 deaths in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in India has increased to 2,29,92,517 while total discharges have gone up to 1,90,27,304. The death toll in the country has increased to 2,49,992 and the active cases stand at 37,15,221. As of now, a total of 17,27,10,066 people have been administered COVID-19 vaccines so far. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 30,56,00,187 samples have been tested up to May 10, 2021, for COVID-19. Of these, 18,50,110 samples were tested on Monday. Meanwhile, Delhi has been recovering from the second wave of coronavirus. Delhi recorded 12,651 new COVID-19 cases, 319 deaths, and 13,306 recoveries in 24 hours. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi government has ordered nearly 1.5 crore coronavirus vaccine doses, but received only around 3.5 lakh.
