Coronavirus India Updates: India on Monday recorded one lakh new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the lowest in two months. According to the coronavirus updates, the Union Health Ministry stated that India on Monday reported 1,00,636 new COVID-19 cases, 1,74,399 discharges, and 2,427 deaths in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 2,89,09,975 while discharges have gone up to 2,71,59,180. Coronavirus India Updates: India recorded one lakh new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the lowest in two months. As of now, a total of 23,27,86,482 people have been administered COVID-19 vaccines. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 36,63,34,111 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the country, up to June 6 including 15,87,589 samples tested on Sunday. As COVID-19 cases dip, markets reopened in Delhi on Monday on an odd-even basis between 10 am and 8 pm. After over 1.5-month lockdown, the unlocking process has started as metro services in Delhi will open for the public with 50 percent capacity, among other relaxations.
