Coronavirus: India reports 43,393 new cases, 911 deaths in last 24 hours
Coronavirus India Updates: India on Friday reported 43,393 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours while the Active Caseload now stands at 4,58,727.
As per the coronavirus updates, India reported 43,393 new COVID-19 cases, 44,459 recoveries, and 911 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 3,07,52,950 while the recoveries have gone up to 2,98,88,284.
The Active cases in the country have reached 4,58,727 while the death toll in the nation stands at 4,05,939. As of now, a total of 36,89,91,222 people have been administered the COVID-19 vaccine. 40,23,173 people were inoculated in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) stated that a total of 42,70,16,605 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to July 8, 2021. Of these, 17,90,708 samples were tested on Thursday.
The active cases in the country constitute 1.49 percent of total cases. The recovery rate in the country has increased to 97.19 percent while the weekly positivity rate remains below 5 percent, currently at 2.36 percent.
The daily positivity rate in the country stands at 2.42 percent, which is less than 3 percent for 18 consecutive days.
