Coronavirus: India's COVID-19 Recovery Rate increases to 96.66 percent

Coronavirus India Updates: India on Friday reported 51,667 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours while the Active Caseload has further declined to 6,12,868. According to the coronavirus updates given by the Union Health Ministry, India reported 51,667 new COVID-19 cases, 64,527 recoveries, and 1,329 deaths in the last 24 hours. As of now, a total of 30,79,48,744 people have been administered COVID-19 vaccines. Of which 17,35,781 samples were tested on Thursday. The daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 43rd consecutive day, the Health Ministry stated. The recovery rate has increased to 96.66 percent while the weekly positivity rate remained below 5 percent, currently at 3.00 percent.
