Coronavirus: India's COVID-19 Recovery Rate increases to 96.66 percent
Coronavirus India Updates: India on Friday reported 51,667 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours while the Active Caseload has further declined to 6,12,868.
According to the coronavirus updates given by the Union Health Ministry, India reported 51,667 new COVID-19 cases, 64,527 recoveries, and 1,329 deaths in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 3,01,34,445 while the total recoveries have gone up to 2,91,28,267.

The death toll in the country has reached 3,93,310 while the Active cases stood at 6,12,868.
As of now, a total of 30,79,48,744 people have been administered COVID-19 vaccines.
As per the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 39,95,68,448 samples have been tested up to June 24. Of which 17,35,781 samples were tested on Thursday.
The daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 43rd consecutive day, the Health Ministry stated.
The recovery rate has increased to 96.66 percent while the weekly positivity rate remained below 5 percent, currently at 3.00 percent.
The daily positivity rate is at 2.98 percent, less than 5 percent for 18 consecutive days.
