Coronavirus: India’s daily caseload falls below 50K from last 10 days
Coronavirus India Updates: India has been witnessing a continuous fall in COVID-19 active caseload as it currently stands at 4,59,920, the Union Health Ministry stated on Wednesday.
As per the coronavirus updates, India reported 43,733 new COVID-19 cases, 47,240 recoveries, and 930 deaths in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India has reached 3,06,63,665 while the total recoveries have gone up to 2,97,99,534.

Meanwhile, the active cases stand at 4,59,920 while the death toll has gone up to 4,04,211. As of now, a total of 36,13,23,548 people have been vaccinated so far.
Union Health Ministry stated that more than 37.43 crore (37,43,25,560) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far. Of this, the total consumption including wastages is 35,75,98,947 doses.
A total of 36,13,23,548 vaccine doses have been administered through 47,07,778 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am on Wednesday. Of which, 36,05,998 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) stated that a total of 42,33,32,097 samples were tested for COVID-19 up to July 6. Of which, 19,07,216 samples were tested on Tuesday.
