Mohali reports 6 new positive cases of coronavirus; district tally climbs to 252

The total number of coronavirus cases in Mohali has increased to 252 after the district reported 6 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. According to the information, an 82-year-old male, 50-year-old female, 40-year-old male, 24-year-old male, all residents of Kharar have tested positive for coronavirus. Similarly, a 61-year-old male, resident of Maya Garden, Zirakpur, and a 57-year-old female, resident of Sector 71, Mohali, were diagnosed with the pandemic. As per the report, the Civil Surgeon Dr Manjit Singh said that all the 4 patients from Kharar are contacts of positive cases, while the other two are ILI cases. All of them have been taken to the Covid Care Centre of Gian Sagar Hospital at Banur.
