Mohali reports 47 new cases of coronavirus; tally rises to 1098
The total number of coronavirus cases in Mohali has increased to 1098 after 47 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the district on Thursday. A total of 11 COVID patients in the district were declared cured and discharged.
According to the information, the new cases include 45 M from Sector 74, 46 F from Zirakpur, 38 M from Omaxe Green, Lalru, 42 F from Mataur, 28 F from Sector 68, 40 M from Daun, 38 F from Goslan, 28 M from Mundi Kharar, 44 M from Peer Muchaĺla, 42 F from Sector 71, 47 M from Kharar, 28 F from Kurali, 25 F from phase 10, 39 F from Baltana, 28 M from Zirakpur and 36 M from Kharar.
Likewise, 44 M from Baltana, 26 M from Zirakpur, 34 F from Peer Muchalla, 58 F, 40 M, 52 F from Kurali, 78 M from Banmajra, 34 M from phase 10, 49 M from Sector 82, 60 M from Sector 70, 40 F from Ramgarh, 58 M, 29 M from Zirakpur, 24 F, 29 F, 24 F from TDI City, 31 M from Kurali, 25 F from Barauli and 26 M from Balongi, also tested positive for coronavirus.
Others include 23 F from phase 1, 49 F from phase 1, 23 M from phase 1, 25 F from Sector 57, 20 F from Sector 66, 55 F from Sector 66, 34 M from Phase 10, 26 M from Kharar, 41 F from Baltana, 38 M from Issapur, 55 F from Derabassi and 40 F from Phase 7.

The Civil Surgeon Dr. Manjit Singh said that all the patients had been admitted to the COVID care center at Gian Sagar Hospital in Banur. Of 1,098 coronavirus cases in the district, 600 have been cured and discharged while 481 are active cases with 17 deaths in the district.
