Coronavirus: Mohali Police launches helpline numbers to serve senior citizens
COVID-19 vaccination: Amid the second wave of coronavirus in Punjab, the Mohali police has launched a dedicated helpline number to serve the senior citizens in this hour of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The aim of this initiative is to safeguard the health of those senior citizens who stay alone from their near and dear ones in the city of Mohali by minimizing their exposure to the deadly coronavirus.

Meanwhile, round clock assistance will be provided to senior citizens of Mohali city with regard to cases pertaining to COVID-19.

This will include:
1) free ride for COVID-19 vaccination ( 10 am to 2 pm);
2) providing medical and essential services at the doorstep

Guriqbal Singh, DSP Traffic has been designated as the nodal officer.
It is worth mentioning here that 40 senior citizens have availed themselves of the free COVID-19 vaccination ride facility being provided by the district police since May 6, 2021.
