PM Narendra Modi to address the nation on ways to combat coronavirus

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on Thursday at 8 PM, during which he will be talking about the issues relating to coronavirus (COVID 19) and the efforts to combat it. The government officials have stated that the next 15 days in India are crucial amid coronavirus outbreak. In the meanwhile, all the efforts are being made to contain the spread of the disease during this period and in April.

"Modi government is the second-parent to my daughter"

A man whose daughter was rescued from coronavirus-hit Italy lauded Modi Government. He said that he used to think that he is the only father to her daughter but now PM Narendra Modi is the second parent to his daughter. Responding to this, PM Modi said that "Will do everything possible to help our citizens. Such efforts are possible due to teamwork and I laud all those working to make it possible."

"I stayed at work for you, you stay at home for us"

In an order to appeal to the people, a doctor at Safdarjung hospital in Delhi wrote a message, "I stayed at work for you, you stay at home for us", which is getting viral on social media. To this, PM Modi replied: "Well said, Doctor! Also a shout-out to all those working to make our planet safer and healthier. No words will ever do justice to their exceptional efforts." Coronavirus in India

So far, India has reported 166 confirmed cases of coronavirus with 3 deaths. Meanwhile, a suspected patient in Delhi had committed suicide on Wednesday night. -PTC News
