Rajpura reports 5 new cases of coronavirus; Patiala count climbs to 31

The total number of coronavirus cases in the Patiala district has increased to 31 after 5 new cases of coronavirus have been reported from Rajpura on Tuesday. While giving the information, the Civil Surgeon, Patiala, Dr. Harish Malhotra said that all the cases have been reported from the Anaaj Mandi area of Rajpura. Two days ago, 6 people from the same area tested positive for coronavirus. A total of 19 samples was taken from people residing in Anaaj Mandi out of which 5 have tested positive, while the results of the remaining 14 came out negative. Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in Rajpura has gone up to 12, while the number of patients in the Patiala district has climbed to 31.

Home Away From Home' facility for Punjab Cops

The total number of coronavirus (COVID 19) cases in India has climbed to 18,601 after 1336 new positive cases were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Tuesday morning. Of 18,601 cases, 3252 have been cured and discharged while the death toll has reached 590 after 47 new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. -PTC News
