Corona breaks Captain's security cordon; 14 test positive
While coronavirus cases in Punjab have been rising at a pace, 14 security personnel of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh have tested positive for COVID-19.
Recently on Raksha Bandhan, TikTok star Noor who was supposed to tie Rakhi on Captain Amarinder's wrist was tested for coronavirus, However, her reports turned positive, and hence she was put under isolation.
Meanwhile, Captain Amarinder Singh had spoken to Noor. He took to Twitter and shared a video. He captioned: "Spoke to our little star Noor on Raksha Bandhan. Happy to share that she is doing fine and am sure she and her father will beat Covid-19 soon. Already looking forward to meeting you. God Bless!"
Jalandhar on Wednesday reported 153 new cases of coronavirus while 3 new deaths were reported from the district today.

On Tuesday, Punjab posted the lowest corona positivity rate of 3.10 percent in the country while the national average stands at 8.89 percent. Only 4 states in the country — Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh —- have managed a positive rate of less than 5 percent while 28 states and UTs have a positivity rate below 10 percent.
