Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The daily new cases of coronavirus in Punjab continue to remain below 5,000 as the state on Wednesday recorded 4,124 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 5,52,235.

Among new cases, Ludhiana reported 438 new cases, Bathinda 385, Jalandhar 337, Mansa 318, Amritsar 297, SAS Nagar 268, Patiala 259, Fazilka 251, Pathankot 192, Sangrur 180, Ferozepur 178, and Hoshiarpur 167.

Likewise, Gurdaspur reported 161 new infections, Ropar 146, Muktsar 121, Faridkot 104, FG Sahib 83, Kapurthala 70, SBS Nagar 62, Moga 48, Tarn Taran 31, and Barnala 28.

Amritsar reported 370 new recoveries while Barnala reported 25, Bathinda 648, Faridkot 228, Fazilka 358, Ferozpur 171, FG Sahib 82, Gurdaspur 266, Hoshiarpur 169, Jalandhar 511, Kapurthala 168, Ludhiana 922, Mansa 357, Moga 157, Muktsar 415, Pathankot 177, Patiala 372, Ropar 90, Sangrur 151, SAS Nagar 558, SBS Nagar 86, and Tarn Taran 116.

The death toll in Punjab due to COVID-19 has increased to 13,827 after 186 fresh deaths were recorded in 24 hours.

Amritsar reported 14 new deaths while Barnala recorded 8, Bathinda 14, FG Sahib 3, Fazilka 14, Ferozpur 5, Gurdaspur 8, Hoshiarpur 6, Jalandhar 11, Kapurthala 5, Ludhiana 20, Mansa 6, Moga 4, SAS Nagar 7, Muktsar 10, Pathankot 10, Patiala 20, Ropar 1, Sangrur 15, and Tarn Taran 5.
