Punjab: 2 Bathinda men arrested for bringing heroin from Delhi on scooter amid curfew

Amid curfew in the state, two men crossed two states to get heroin from Delhi on a motorcycle. As per the report, they made a fake curfew pass so that nobody intercepted them on the way. The duo returned to Bathinda after buying heroin from Delhi, however, they were nabbed by the STF in the town. The police have not been able to recover the fake curfew pass from them. Reportedly, the STF team arrested them for carrying around 110-gram heroin and registered a case against them at the Thermal police station. Meanwhile, the police also started a probe to find out how did they procure the fake pass. Heroin recovered in indo-pak border in ferozpur Special Task Force (STF) in-charge Naveen Kumar stated that SI Kulwinder Singh on Thursday was on patrolling at Model Town Phase 4 from Ballaram Nagar in the town. The accused have been identified as Anshul Kumar of Shakti Vihar and Khushpreet Singh of Baba Farid Nagar. Reportedly, they were standing near their white Scooty holding a white-color polythene bag. Meanwhile, the accused were arrested and booked under the NDPS Act. The police stated that the accused had brought the heroin from Delhi. Anshul has been involved in several drugs and smuggling cases, the police stated. -PTC News
