Punjab reports second death due to coronavirus

Punjab reported second death due to coronavirus on Sunday. A man, contact of Baldev Singh (who died in Nawanshahr due to coronavirus), died on Sunday evening at a hospital in Amritsar.‬ The man has been identified as Harbhajan Singh, who was a resident of Hoshiarpur. According to the information, Harbhajan Singh was suffering from diabetes and hypertension. Baldev Singh, the first corona death, had contracted dozen of people in Nawanshahr. Meanwhile, the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced a complete lockdown along with the curfew in the state. Likewise, PM Narendra Modi announced a complete lockdown across the nation.

Village sealed in Patiala

Ramnagar Sainian village of Patiala district has been sealed by the local administration as a precautionary measure after a 21-year-old resident of the village, who returned from Nepal, tested positive for coronavirus. PM Narendra Modi's apology

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a monthly broadcast Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, apologized to the nation for taking harsh steps amid coronavirus pandemic. He stated that "I apologize for taking these harsh steps which have caused difficulties in your lives, especially the poor people. I know some of you would be angry with me also.
