Which are Punjab districts that have reported new deaths due to coronavirus?
Punjab on Sunday reported 4 new deaths due to the novel coronavirus taking the death toll in the state to 199. According to the information, a 90-year-old woman, a resident of Malerkotla in Sangrur died due to the pandemic.
Reportedly, she was suffering from several health issues and was admitted to a hospital in Ludhiana. Likewise, an 84-year-old man from Pathankot succumbed to the pandemic. It was the eighth death in the district.
The other two deaths were reported from Amritsar where a 42-year-old man and 50-year-old man died due to the pandemic.
The coronavirus cases in Punjab have been rising on a daily basis. Around 231 new cases were from the state reported on Saturday. The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has crossed 7500-mark while active cases have crossed 2200-mark.

Meanwhile, there are several people who are talking about imposing coronavirus lockdown and there are those as well who are not satisfied with the weekend lockdowns. This is because there has been no clarification by the government about the lockdown norms.
