Punjab health department issues 12-point advisory as Lockdown 4 begins

Punjab Health Department on Monday issued a set of 12 advisories for the general public  as the state government lifted the curfew and moved into the lockdown 4 till May 31. As per the report, the advisories have been issued for the hygiene and sanitisation in banks, private industrial and commercial establishments; use of air-conditioners in the residential, commercial and hospital complexes; sanitisation of shops and petrol pumps to avoid the spread of coronavirus; sanitisation of the trucks in which goods are to be sent or brought to the state. Likewise, detailed advisories have been issued for the senior citizens asking them to stay at home at all times, and depending on young relatives or neighbours for getting even groceries. Similarly, the guidelines have been issued on how to avoid getting diagnosed with the infection while using public transport, which is allowed to be used for only stranded migrants and others at a 50 percent capacity. Punjab government has allowed the movement of an individual within the state from 7 am to 7 pm, barring the containment zones from Monday in the revised guidelines for lockdown 4.0. -PTC News
