Punjab Government releases helpline numbers for all the districts

In the wake of coronavirus outbreak, the Punjab Government on Tuesday released the helpline numbers for all the districts amid curfew in the state. While imposing curfew in the state, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had said "Entire world is under threat of COVID 19 and we in Punjab are no different. Difficult times call for difficult decisions." publive-image He added that "Hence for the good of everyone, curfew has been imposed. We have already taken necessary steps to help elderly & underprivileged. All must adhere & cooperate." publive-image The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Punjab stands at 29. Six fresh cases were reported on Tuesday, three each from Nawanshahr and Phillaur in Jalandhar.

Havoc of coronavirus

The novel coronavirus has been declared as a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO) earlier this month. Meanwhile, more than 16,569 people have died across the world so far. For now, 382,420 cases have been reported across the globe out of which 102,513 people have been recovered. -PTC News-
