Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 10,510; death toll 262; recovered 7118

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 10,510 after 411 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Monday evening. The death toll in the state has increased to 262 after 8 new deaths were reported from the state. Gurdaspur reported 2 new deaths while one new death was reported each from Moga, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Pathankot, Amritsar, and Mohali. A total of 583 patients were declared cured and discharged in the last 24 hours. Of 583, 144 were from Ludhiana, 155 from Jalandhar, 32 from Amritsar, 51 from Patiala, 19 from Sangrur, 22 from Mohali, 12 from Gurdaspur, 37 from SBS Nagar, 22 from Faridkot, 19 from Fatehgarh Sahib, 11 from Bathinda, 7 each from Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur, 4 each from Muktsar, Moga and Tarn Taran, 31 from Ropar and 2 from Fazilka. Currently, Ludhiana is having 640 active cases of coronavirus while Jalandhar has 629, Amritsar 235, and Sangrur 100.
