Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 14,378; death toll 336; recovered 9,752
The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 14,378 after 612 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Tuesday evening.
The death toll in the state has increased to 336 after 19 new deaths were reported from the state. Ludhiana reported 6 new deaths while 3 new death was reported from each Tarn Taran, Amritsar, Sangrur and Patiala while Hoshiarpur reported a new death due to coronavirus.
A total of 688 COVID patients were declared cured and discharged in the last 24 hours. Of 688, 426 were from Jalandhar, 49 from Patiala, 23 from Sangrur, 12 from Ferozepur, 71 from Hoshiarpur, 14 from Pathankot, 11 from Moga, 17 from Ropar, 19 from Bathinda, 10 from Mohali, 4 from SBS Nagar, 6 from Fatehgarh Sahib and 4 from Mansa.
Currently, Ludhiana is having 903 active cases of coronavirus while Jalandhar has 451, Amritsar 411 and Sangrur 240.

Patiala has 637 active cases while Mohali has 284, Gurdaspur 122, Pathankot 50, Tarn Taran 81, Hoshiarpur 137, SBS Nagar 48, Muktsar at 29, Fatehgarh Sahib 84, Moga 112, Ropar 47, Faridkot 66, Kapurthala 84, Ferozepur at 139, Bathinda 146, Fazilka 110, Barnala 64, and Mansa 45.
