Coronavirus: Punjab records 271 new cases, 18 COVID deaths in 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 5,95,136 after 271 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in the last 24 hours.
Ludhiana recorded 35 new cases while Jalandhar 26, Hoshiarpur 21, Bathinda 20, SAS Nagar 19, Fazilka 18, Patiala 16, Amritsar 15, Ferozepur 12, Faridkot 11, Gurdaspur 11, and Muktsar 11.

Fatehgarh Sahib reported 10, Mansa 10, Moga 9, Pathankot 6, Sangrur 5, Kapurthala 4, Ropar 4, Barnala 3, Tarn Taran 3, and SBS Nagar 2.

Punjab recorded 18 Covid-19 deaths across the state in 24 hours taking the death toll to 16,011.
Barnala reported 1 death, Bathinda 6, Faridkot 1, Ferozepur 1, Gurdaspur 1, Jalandhar 1, Ludhiana 2, Pathankot 1, Patiala 1, Ropar 2, and Tarn Taran 1.
The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 5,75,486 after 614 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar witnessed 32 new recoveries, Barnala 34, Bathinda 67, Faridkot 26, Fazilka 37, Ferozepur 31, FG Sahib 10, Gurdaspur 31, Hoshiarpur 30, Jalandhar 53, Kapurthala 26, Ludhiana 65, Mansa 8, Moga 14, Muktsar Sahib 34, Pathankot 12, Patiala 29, Ropar 12, Sangrur 11, SAS Nagar 28, SBS Nagar 17, and Tarn Taran 7.
