Coronavirus: Punjab records 409 new cases, 20 deaths in last 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 5,93,063 after 409 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases, Fazilka reported 48 new cases, Jalandhar 36, Ludhiana 34, Amritsar 31, SAS Nagar 29, Hoshiarpur 26, Bathinda 24, Patiala 24, Faridkot 23, Sangrur 21, Mansa 20, and Ferozepur 16.

Kapurthala recorded 15 new cases while FG Sahib 13, Muktsar 13, Pathankot 7, Ropar 7, Barnala 6, Gurdaspur 6, Tarn Taran 5, Moga 4, and SBS Nagar 1.

Punjab recorded just 20 Covid-19 deaths across the state in 24 hours taking the death toll to 15,888.
Among 20 deaths, Amritsar reported 2 new fatalities, Bathinda 1, Fazilka 1, Ferozepur 1, Hoshiarpur 1, Jalandhar 2, Kapurthala 1, Ludhiana 2, Muktsar 1, Patiala 2, Ropar 1, Sangrur 4, and SBS Nagar 1.
The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 5,71,207 after 880 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar recorded 149 new recoveries, Barnala 8, Bathinda 39, Faridkot 44, Fazilka 66, Ferozepur 34, FG Sahib 21, Gurdaspur 14, Hoshiarpur 17, Jalandhar 86, Kapurthala 53, Ludhiana 90, Mansa 37, Moga 9, Muktsar 12, Pathankot 20, Patiala 47, Ropar 20, Sangrur 20, SAS Nagar 52, SBS Nagar 4, and Tarn Taran 38.
