Coronavirus: Punjab records 642 new cases, 38 deaths in 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The daily new cases of coronavirus in Punjab witnessed a major decline as the state on Tuesday recorded 642 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 5,89,153.
Ludhiana recorded 67 new cases of COVID-19, SAS Nagar 53, Amritsar 49, Jalandhar 47, Patiala 47, Hoshiarpur 46, Bathinda 44, Ferozepur 39, Gurdaspur, Muktsar 25, and Kapurthala 24.

Faridkot reported 20 new cases while FG Sahib 19, Moga 18, Fazilka 17, Mansa 17, Sangrur 17, Ropar 16, Tarn Taran 16, Barnala 14, Pathankot 10, and SBS Nagar 6.
Punjab recorded 38 Covid deaths across the state in 24 hours taking the death toll to 15,650.

The Health Department stated that Amritsar reported 3, Bathinda 6, Faridkot 1, Fatehgarh Sahib 1, Fazilka 1, Hoshiarpur 2, Jalandhar 4, Kapurthala 2, Mansa 1, Muktsar 2, Pathankot 2, Patiala 2, Ropar 1, Sangrur 6, SAS Nagar 2, and Tarn Taran 2.
The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 5,62,701 after 1,691 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar added 140 new discharges, Barnala 26, Bathinda 165, Faridkot 59, Fazilka 69, Ferozepur 52, Fatehgarh Sahib 18, Gurdaspur 50, Hoshiarpur 75, Jalandhar 120, Kapurthala 51, Ludhiana 200, Mansa 47, Moga 5, Muktsar 125, Pathankot 35, Patiala 125, Ropar 30, Sangrur 110, SAS Nagar 93, SBS Nagar 19, and Tarn Taran 77.
