Coronavirus: Punjab records 8,347 new cases, 197 deaths in 24 hours

Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 4,67,539 after 8,347 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in 24 hours, as of Wednesday evening. Among new cases, Ludhiana recorded 1,215 new cases, Bathinda reported 874, Jalandhar 821, Fazilka 723, SAS Nagar 713, Patiala 582, Amritsar 490, Hoshiarpur 387, Mansa 378, Pathankot 284, and Kapurthala 263. Likewise, Muktsar reported 260 new cases, Sangrur 222, Gurdaspur 205, Faridkot 202, Ropar 184, Ferozepur 149, SBS Nagar 135, FG Sahib 95, Tarn Taran 60, Barnala 55, and Moga 50. The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 3,76,465 after 4,971 new recoveries were reported from the state in 24 hours. Amritsar recorded 330 new discharges, Barnala 38, Bathinda 625, Faridkot 123, Fazilka 304, Ferozpur 82, FG Sahib 44, Gurdaspur 205, Hoshiarpur 213, Jalandhar 639, Ludhiana 389, Kapurthala 101, Mansa 366, Moga 49, Muktsar 233, Pathankot 243, Patiala 372, Ropar 69, Sangrur 134, SAS Nagar 299, SBS Nagar 61, and Tarn Taran 52. Coronavirus Punjab Updates: Coronavirus cases in Punjab increased to 4,67,539 after 8,347 new cases of COVID-19 were reported. Similarly, Punjab recorded 197 new deaths taking the toll to 11,111. Amritsar recorded 19 new deaths, Barnala 4, Bathinda 20, Faridkot 4, Fazilka 8, Ferozpur 2, FG Sahib 4, Gurdaspur 7, Hoshiarpur 8, Jalandhar 9, Ludhiana 28, Kapurthala 8, Mansa 7, SAS Nagar 7, Muktsar 9, Pathankot 3, Patiala 20, Ropar 6, Sangrur 14, SBS Nagar 6, and Tarn Taran 4.
