Coronavirus: Punjab records 99 new COVID-19 deaths in last 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The daily new cases of coronavirus in Punjab continue to maintain a declining trend as the state on Thursday recorded 2,281 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 5,71,970.
Among new cases, Ludhiana recorded 285 new cases while Jalandhar reported 224, Bathinda 180, SAS Nagar 153, Hoshiarpur 148, Muktsar 133, Mansa 123, Ferozepur 116, Patiala 114, Pathankot 100, and Faridkot 99.

Likewise, Amritsar recorded 99 new cases while Gurdaspur reported 94, Kapurthala 64, Fazilka 63, Sangrur 63, Ropar 60, Moga 50, FG Sahib 39, Barnala 31, SBS Nagar 30, and Tarn Taran 15.

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 5,26,089 after 4,426 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar reported 289 new cases while Barnala added 58, Bathinda 248, Faridkot 131, Fazilka 298, Ferozepur 240, Fatehgarh Sahib 56, Gurdaspur 106, Hoshiarpur 141, Jalandhar 338, Kapurthala 123, Ludhiana 592, Mansa 366, Moga 61, Muktsar 281, Pathankot 125, Patiala 209, Ropar 115, Sangrur 74, SAS Nagar 437, SBS Nagar 59, and Tarn Taran 79.
The death toll in Punjab due to COVID-19 has reached 14,748 after 99 fresh deaths were recorded in 24 hours.
Reportedly, Amritsar added 7 new fatalities, Barnala 2, Bathinda 5, Faridkot 2, Fatehgarh Sahib 1, Fazilka 9, Ferozepur 7, Gurdaspur 6, Hoshiarpur 4, Jalandhar 4, Kapurthala 4, Ludhiana 5, Mansa 3, Moga 7, SAS Nagar 8, Muktsar 4, Patiala 8, Ropar 2, Sangrur 7, SBS Nagar 1, and Tarn Taran 3.
