Coronavirus: Punjab records biggest-ever single-day recoveries in the state

Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 4,75,949 after 8,494 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in 24 hours, as of Thursday evening. While Ludhiana recorded 1335 new cases, SAS Nagar recorded 991, Bathinda 877, Jalandhar 577, Patiala 561, Amritsar 532, Fazilka 476, Kapurthala 363, Muktsar 306, Gurdaspur 302, and Mansa 298. Likewise, Hoshiarpur reported 277 new cases, Sangrur 272, Faridkot 265, Ropar 205, Pathankot 191, Moga 181, Ferozepur 177, FG Sahib 96, SBS Nagar 82, Tarn Taran 82, and Barnala 48. The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 3,84,702 after 8,237 new recoveries were reported from the state in 24 hours. Amritsar recorded 410 new recoveries, Barnala reported 38, Bathinda 610, Faridkot 81, Fazilka 222, Ferozpur 80, FG Sahib 93, Gurdaspur 318, Hoshiarpur 395, Jalandhar 678, Ludhiana 1322, Kapurthala 150, Mansa 289, Moga 84, Muktsar 265, Pathankot 372, Patiala 552, Ropar 188, Sangrur 267, SAS Nagar 1702, SBS Nagar 86, and Tarn Taran 35. Coronavirus Punjab Updates: Coronavirus cases in Punjab increased to 4,75,949 after 8,494 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state. On the other hand, Punjab recorded 184 new deaths taking the death toll to 11,297. Amritsar witnessed 10 new deaths, Barnala 1, Bathinda 12, Faridkot 4, Fazilka 10, Ferozpur 8, FG Sahib 4, Gurdaspur 8, Hoshiarpur 5, Jalandhar 10, Ludhiana 25, Kapurthala 6, Mansa 2, Moga 1, SAS Nagar 8, Muktsar 15, Pathankot 5, Patiala 17, Ropar 6, Sangrur 23, and Tarn Taran 4.
