Coronavirus: Punjab records decline in fresh cases, deaths in 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The daily new cases of coronavirus in Punjab witnessed a decline as the state on Tuesday recorded 1,273 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 5,82,081.
Hoshiarpur reported 118 new cases while Ludhiana added 115, SAS Nagar 113, Amritsar 102, Bathinda 96, Patiala 96, Jalandhar 85, Fazilka 68, Gurdaspur 58, Sangrur 57, Faridkot 51, and Muktsar 48.

Ferozepur reported 43 new infections while Mansa added 41, Kapurthala 36, FG Sahib 27, Moga 23, Barnala 21, Tarn Taran 20, Pathankot 19, Ropar 19, and SBS Nagar 17.

Likewise, Punjab witnessed a decline in fresh Covid deaths as the state recorded 60 fatalities in 24 hours.
Amritsar reported 6 new deaths, Barnala added 1, Bathinda- 5, Faridkot 1, Fazilka 2, Ferozepur 1, Gurdaspur 3, Hoshiarpur 2, Jalandhar 7, Kapurthala 1, Ludhiana 6, Mansa 1, Moga 3, SAS Nagar 5, Muktsar 2, Pathankot 2, Patiala 5, Ropar 1, Sangrur 3, SBS Nagar 1, Tarn Taran 2.
Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 5,48,316 after 2,642 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar recorded 172 new recoveries while Barnala added 50, Bathinda 223, Faridkot 55, Fazilka 148, Ferozpur 154, Fatehgarh Sahib 100, Gurdaspur 91, Hoshiarpur 73, Jalandhar 202, Kapurthala 68, Ludhiana 237, Mansa 157, Moga 21, Muktsar 120, Pathankot 44, Patiala 191, Ropar 79, Sangrur 146, SAS Nagar 235, SBS Nagar 34, Tarn Taran 42.
