Coronavirus: Punjab records decline in new COVID-19 cases

Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 4,97,705 after 7,038 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in 24 hours, as of Sunday evening. Ludhiana records 942 new cases of coronavirus while Bathinda reported 705, Jalandhar 673, SAS Nagar 542, Fazilka 482, Muktsar 438, Amritsar 396, Patiala 367, Hoshiarpur 355, Pathankot 330, and Mansa 298. Likewise, Gurdaspur reported 218 new cases, Sangrur 198, Ferozepur 173, Kapurthala 156, Faridkot 155, Barnala 148, Ropar 148, SBS Nagar 108, FG Sahib 104, Tarn Taran 65, and Moga 37. The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 4,10,332 after 9,059 new recoveries were reported from the state in 24 hours. Amritsar recorded 460 new discharges, Barnala 59, Bathinda 886, Faridkot 235, Fazilka 366, Ferozpur 141, FG Sahib 106, Gurdaspur 248, Hoshiarpur 204, Jalandhar 658, Ludhiana 537, Kapurthala 234, Mansa 583, Moga 716, Muktsar 281, Pathankot 338, Patiala 383, Ropar 171, Sangrur 218, SAS Nagar 1921, SBS Nagar 119, and Tarn Taran 195. Coronavirus Punjab Updates: Coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 4,97,705 after 7,038 new cases of COVID-19 were reported. Similarly, Punjab recorded 202 new deaths due to COVID-19, taking the death toll to 11,895.
