Coronavirus: Punjab records decline in fresh cases, deaths in 24 hours

Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 4,50,674 after 8,625 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in 24 hours, as of Monday evening.

Ludhiana recorded 1470 new cases, SAS Nagar 1382, Jalandhar 619, Patiala 676, Amritsar 561, Bathinda 629, Hoshiarpur 385, Gurdaspur 206, Kapurthala 171, Pathankot 396, Sangrur 214, and Muktsar 401.

Fazilka reported 283 new cases, SBS Nagar 85, Ropar 180, Faridkot 104, Ferozepur 181, Mansa 353, Moga 119, Tarn Taran 103, FG Sahib 84, and Barnala 23.

Technical guidance

The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 3,64,170 with record 6,894 new recoveries in 24 hours.

Ludhiana recorded 2293 new recoveries, SAS Nagar 303, Jalandhar 480, Patiala 524, Amritsar 500, Hoshiarpur 240, Bathinda 450, Gurdaspur 174, Kapurthala 83, Pathankot 257, Sangrur 196, Muktsar 154, Fazilka 359, SBS Nagar 53, Ropar 154, Faridkot 130, Ferozpur 115, Mansa 197, Moga 37, Tarn Taran 42, FG Sahib 87, and Barnala 66.

Meanwhile, the death toll in the state has increased to 10,704 after a record of 198 new deaths were reported from the state.

Among new deaths, Amritsar recorded 10 new deaths, Barnala 2, Bathinda 19, Faridkot 5, Fazilka 8, Ferozpur 11, FG Sahib 3, Gurdaspur 4, Hoshiarpur 9, Jalandhar 8, Ludhiana 30, Kapurthala 4, Mansa 4, Moga 1, SAS Nagar 14, Muktsar 13, Pathankot 8, Patiala 14, Ropar 10, Sangrur 17, SBS Nagar 3, and Tarn Taran 1.
