Coronavirus: Punjab records highest recoveries in 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 3,92,042 after 6,798 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state, as of Monday evening.
Ludhiana recorded 1198 new cases while Jalandhar reported 697, SAS Nagar 534, Patiala 491, Amritsar 421, Hoshiarpur 223, Bathinda 623, Gurdaspur 258, Kapurthala 105, SBS Nagar 64, Pathankot 336, and Sangrur 240.

Likewise, Ferozepur reported 134 new cases, Ropar 160, Faridkot 126, Fazilka 307, Muktsar 254, FG Sahib 111, Tarn Taran 69, Moga 66, Mansa 296, and Barnala 85.
The total recoveries in Punjab have increased to 3,21,861 after 6,016 new recoveries were recorded in 24 hours.

Ludhiana recorded 738 new recoveries, Jalandhar 598, SAS Nagar 1042, Patiala 412, Amritsar 700, Hoshiarpur 201, Bathinda 585, Gurdaspur 158, Kapurthala 102, SBS Nagar 63, Pathankot 180, Sangrur 226, Ferozpur 62, Ropar 73, Faridkot 116, Fazilka 159, Muktsar 204, Tarn Taran 96, Moga 21, Mansa 191, and Barnala 89.
The death toll in the state has increased to 9,472 after 157 new deaths were recorded in the state.
Amritsar recorded 13 new deaths, Barnala 3, Bathinda 13, Faridkot 4, Fazilka 8, Ferozpur 1, FG Sahib 2, Gurdaspur 4, Hoshiarpur 9, Jalandhar 7, Ludhiana 21, Kapurthala 5, Mansa 2, Moga 1, SAS Nagar 12, Muktsar 8, Pathankot 11, Patiala 10, Sangrur 16, SBS Nagar 2, and Tarn Taran 5.
