Coronavirus: Punjab records just 340 new COVID cases in 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 5,92,658 after 340 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases, Jalandhar and Bathinda recorded 33 fresh infections each, Muktsar 30, Amritsar 29, Gurdaspur 23, Kapurthala 21, Ludhiana 19, Mansa 18, Ferozepur 15, and Patiala 15.

Hoshiarpur added 14 new cases while FG Sahib 13, Fazilka 12, Sangrur 11, SAS Nagar 11, Faridkot 10, Barnala 8, Pathankot 7, Ropar 6, SBS Nagar 5, Tarn Taran 5, and Moga 2.

Punjab recorded just 24 Covid-19 deaths across the state in 24 hours taking the death toll to 15,854.
Ropar added 3 new fatalities while Barnala, Jalandhar, Patiala, SAS Nagar reported 2 each and Faridkot, Fazilka, Ferozepur, FG Sahib, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Moga, Muktsar, and Tarn Taran recorded one death each.
The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 5,70,327 after 1,271 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar recorded 139 new discharges while Barnala 15, Bathinda 90, Faridkot 61, Fazilka 32, Ferozepur 57, FG Sahib 49, Gurdaspur 21, Hoshiarpur 65, Jalandhar 95, Kapurthala 33, Ludhiana 139, Mansa 127, Moga 25, Muktsar 59, Pathankot 41, Patiala 59, Ropar 30, Sangrur 35, SAS Nagar 68, SBS Nagar 15, and Tarn Taran 16.
