Coronavirus: Punjab records more than 7,000 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 3,85,270 after the state recorded 7,327 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, as of Sunday evening. Ludhiana recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases with 1404 new infections. Jalandhar recorded 725 new cases, SAS Nagar 1045, Patiala 602, Amritsar 344, Hoshiarpur 266, Bathinda 582, Gurdaspur 186, Kapurthala 107, SBS Nagar 64, and Pathankot 165. Sangrur reported 209 new cases while Ferozepur 80, Ropar 158, Faridkot 151, Fazilka 373, Muktsar 247, FG Sahib 98, Tarn Taran 15, Moga 89, Mansa 372 and Barnala 45. A total of 5,244 Covid patients in Punjab recovered from the deadly disease. With this, the total recoveries have gone up to 3,15,845. Ludhiana recorded 356 new recoveries, Jalandhar 448, SAS Nagar 975, Patiala 470, Amritsar 460, Hoshiarpur 280, Bathinda 477, Gurdaspur 188, Kapurthala 54, SBS Nagar 41, Pathankot 165, Sangrur 176, Ferozpur 157, Ropar 136, Faridkot 97, Fazilka 131, Muktsar 173, Tarn Taran 66, Moga 68, Mansa 257, and Barnala 69. As of now, Punjab is having a total of 60,108 Active cases in the state. Coronavirus Punjab Updates: Coronavirus cases in Punjab increased to 3,85,270 after state recorded 7,327 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours. The death toll in the state has increased to 9,317 after 157 new deaths were reported from the state. Among new deaths, Amritsar reported 15, Barnala 1, Bathinda 18, Faridkot 5, Fazilka 13, Ferozpur 4, FG Sahib 3, Gurdaspur 11, Hoshiarpur 7, Jalandhar 8, Ludhiana 17, Kapurthala 2, Mansa 3, Moga 5, SAS Nagar 7, Muktsar 7, Pathankot 3, Patiala 9, Ropar 3, Sangrur 12, and Tarn Taran 4.
