Coronavirus: Punjab records nearly 5,000 new COVID-19 recoveries in 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 4,24,647 after 8,367 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the state, as of Friday evening.
Ludhiana recorded the highest number of cases while Bathinda reported the second-highest cases in the state. Ludhiana reported 1465 new cases, SAS Nagar 675, Jalandhar 527, Patiala 692, Amritsar 502, Bathinda 1027, and Hoshiarpur 277.

Gurdaspur recorded 310 new cases, Kapurthala 142, Pathankot 408, Sangrur 307, Muktsar 384, Fazilka 408, SBS Nagar 86, Ropar 3, Faridkot 148, Ferozepur 306, Mansa 316, Moga 81, Tarn Taran 77, FG Sahib 136 and Barnala 90.

The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 3,44,779 after 4,976 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours.
Ludhiana recorded 1255 new discharges, Patiala 541, Amritsar 420, Hoshiarpur 196, Bathinda 398, Kapurthala 145, Pathankot 210, Sangrur 374, Muktsar 209, Fazilka 184, SBS Nagar 103, Faridkot 213, Ferozpur 50, Mansa 221, Moga 138, Tarn Taran 221, FG Sahib 65, and Barnala 33.
With 165 new deaths, the toll has increased to 10,144 in the state.
Amritsar reported 22, Barnala 3, Bathinda 19, Faridkot 4, Fazilka 5, Ferozpur 8, FG Sahib 2, Gurdaspur 7, Hoshiarpur 7, Jalandhar 10, Ludhiana 20, Kapurthala 4, Mansa 3, SAS Nagar 9, Muktsar 4, Pathankot 6, Patiala 13, SBS Nagar 2, Sangrur 16, and Tarn Taran 1.
