Indian Ace shuttler PV Sindhu on Thursday took to Twitter and announced that she has donated Rs 5,00,000 to the Chief Ministers relief fund each for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. She wrote: "I hereby donate an amount of Rs 5,00,000/- each (Rs five lakhs ) towards the "Chief Ministers Relief Fund" for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to fight against COVID-19." Responding to Sindhu's gesture, a twitter user wrote: "Hats off to you. You are always there for our country both on and off the field. Thank you." Earlier on Wednesday, PV Sindhu shared a video and wrote: "Please stay safe stay at home. We are a great nation and in this very difficult time let’s all fight together and overcome this coronavirus."
