Rajasthan reports first death due to coronavirus, death toll in India rises to 5
Coronavirus Outbreak: India has reported its fifth death due to the coronavirus as an Italian citizen, who had recovered three days ago, passed away in Jaipur on Friday. With this, India has witnessed a rise in the number of confirmed cases to 206.
In the meanwhile, the state government has imposed a near-virtual lockdown, banning public gatherings, stopping international flights from Sunday and closing offices and schools.
