In the wake of coronavirus spread, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra has been suspended from Wednesday onwards. The Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, was quoted by news agency ANI as saying: "Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra has been closed from on Wednesday. Operations of all interstate buses, both incoming and outgoing from Jammu and Kashmir, are banned. publive-image

Army jawan tests positive for coronavirus

An Army jawan from Ladakh Scouts has been tested positive for coronavirus. He becomes the first confirmed case in the Indian Army. The father of the soldier from Ladakh Scouts had travelled to Iran for the pilgrimage.
