Chandigarh fixes Covid19 testing upper limit at Rs 2,000 at SRL private lab

Chandigarh Adviser Manoj Parida along with Principal Secretary Health, Arun Kumar Gupta, held a meeting with the private SRL Diagnostics Laboratory, which is authorised to test COVID cases in the city. Meanwhile, the upper limit of the COVID-19 test has been fixed at Rs 2,000. The existing rate of coronavirus test is Rs 4,500. Meanwhile, many states are charging Rs 2,400 for every test. Chandigarh on Monday reported two new cases of coronavirus. With two new cases, the total number of coronavirus cases has gone up to 408. Of the total cases, most of them have been reported from the Bapu Dham Colony in Sector 26. A 62-year-old woman from Dadu Majra and a 37-year-old man from Sector 50, were tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
