Coronavirus Update: India has achieved several milestones in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The active coronavirus cases in India have fallen under the 5 lakh-mark for the first time after almost 106 days, the Health Ministry stated. On Wednesday, the total number of active coronavirus cases in India was pegged at 4,94,657 while on July 28, it was 4,96,988. Meanwhile, the active caseload stands at 5.73 percent of the total positive cases in India.
