Coronavirus update: India's active caseload constitutes 0.56 pc of total positive cases

Coronavirus India update: After 19,582 patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the active caseload in India now constitutes 0.56 percent of the country's total positive cases. The national recovery rate reached 98.12 percent which is currently at its highest peak since March 2020. He is stable What Is Coronavirus? | Johns Hopkins Medicine The active caseload has fallen below the 2 lakh mark and is presently at 1,89,694, which is the lowest in 221 days, the ministry stated while giving coronavirus update about India. With the fresh recoveries, the cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic escalated to 3,34,39,331. Sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the states/UTs continue the trend of less than 50,000 daily new cases that are being reported for 113 consecutive days now, the health ministry informed. India has so far conducted over 59.19 crores (59,19,24,874) cumulative tests. While the testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, the weekly positivity rate at 1.37 percent remains less than 3 percent for the last 115 days now. The daily positivity rate was reported to be 1.37 percent.
